A color palette composed of green, gold, and powdery pastel blues filled this Bishops Bay Country Club wedding from the ceremony through to the reception and it could not have been more perfect! Heather and Gordon were married on a beautiful September day late last summer and we are so thankful to have been part of the team of Wisconsin creatives who helped create their timeless and elegant celebration.
Situated on the shores of Lake Mendota, Bishops Bay Country Club provides stunning views and plenty of space for memorable events. Heather and Gordon chose a lakeside ceremony where a semi-circle of flowers designed by Briar Rose framed the two as they exchanged vows.
After saying “I do”, guests made their way to Bishop Bay’s reception tent and found their seating assignments via a beautiful wooden structure with “Our Favorite People” inscribed over the top. Timeless elegance filled every inch of the reception design, from our black and white checkered dance floor to the tablescapes adorned with floral centerpieces and beautiful pops of blue. Guests were seated at either wooden farm tables or round reception tables paired with our gorgeous French Country Crossback Chairs. The bride and groom’s seats were distinguished by a touch of greenery added to their chairs.
Toasts were made, a beautiful meal was shared, and first dances were danced beneath the sea of lights the Chance Productions team installed above the reception and over the dance floor.
A special thank you to Christi Elizabeth Photography for capturing such wonderful images of the details so that we can remember this day for many years to come.
