Green Wedding Shoes Features 1960’s Inspired Camp Wandawega Wedding

We are so excited to be featured on Green Wedding Shoes for this 1960’s Inspired Camp Wandawega wedding! Together with Premier Planning Services and many others, we were in great working company, and all of the magical details were captured perfectly by India Earl and Raven Rose Films. Keep reading for our bride’s inspiration and some of our favorite elements of this beautiful day!

“I have always been drawn to bright colors, so pastel rainbow was the general color palette. I have also been obsessed with the 1960’s since I was a little kid listening to the Mama’s and the Papa’s. We had flowers of every color, black candles, and some good emo-ish music (our first dance was to the song ‘I Found a Reason’ by the Velvet Underground).

Our florist, Genevive of Apricot Floral Design, absolutely slayed, and I died for the pastel baby’s breath hanging with the 36 disco balls that Chance Productions provided.

[This was] reception of our dreams! We just know these guests are going to have a ball on this checkered dance floor! The sun was glittering on the water, and the flowers were so gorgeous growing up off the table and pouring in from the ceiling of the tent. It was so unreal.

It was absolutely ridiculous and I still can’t believe our wedding was our wedding,” the bride shared with Green Wedding Shoes.

We would have to agree that this wedding is definitely one for the books. The overall color palette remained bright and airy and was paired with black candles which gave a cool and moodier vibe. A mix of our harvest farm tables and 8ft folding banquet table were used for guest seating and paired with fruitwood folding chairs.

Our black and white checkerboard dance floor and natural wood circular round bar were both crowd’s favorite and kept the party going all night long. Let’s not forget all this was housed under our 46’ x 106’ tent with white strands of cafe lighting throughout the tent in a symmetrical design. The evening was just as magical as the couple themselves.

A huge congrats to the happy couple! May the rest of your lives be full of love, laughter, and bliss.
